Minimal Cookie Usage
SpeciesQuest uses only authentication cookies and optional local preferences. No advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies are used. No data is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are used to maintain state between page loads — for example, keeping you logged in across requests.
What We Do Not Use
SpeciesQuest does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, social media cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. No data is shared with advertising networks. No behavioural profiling is performed. The Creator has no interest in or infrastructure for any of these practices.
Third-Party Cookies (Supabase)
Authentication cookies are technically set and managed by Supabase, our infrastructure provider. These are subject to Supabase's own cookie and privacy policies. The Creator has no direct control over what Supabase's client library stores in your browser, though standard Supabase installations use only authentication-related cookies.
How to Control Cookies
You can view, block, and delete cookies through your browser's settings. Blocking or deleting authentication cookies will sign you out and prevent you from playing the game. Blocking preference cookies has no significant effect on functionality. The Creator does not operate a cookie consent banner — by using the Service, you accept the necessary use of authentication cookies.
No Cookie Consent Platform
This Service does not use a Consent Management Platform (CMP). There is no cookie pop-up. If you are in the EU/EEA and require formal cookie consent mechanisms under ePrivacy Directive or GDPR requirements, this Service does not currently meet that standard. The Creator acknowledges this limitation openly.
